QUALIFICATIONS:

Master's degree

Valid Texas teaching certificate

Valid Texas educational diagnostician certificate

SUMMARY:

Perform professional assessment services for students identified as, or referred to, special education. Assist with the RTI guidance process at Tier 3. Assist with the development of Summary of Services for all graduating seniors. Attend ARD meetings for students who are scheduled for evaluation ARD meetings. Ensure all required documentation and necessary written reports are conducted within prescribed timelines. Work with LSSP and Program Specialist to advocate for students that ARD meeting  decisions are carried out as determined by the committee. Act as a resource to the campus in determining appropriate instructional recommendations for students with disabilities. Assist with, and conduct ARD meetings for all transfer students and as needed when as ARD facilitator is nt available. Attend all special education required trainings, participate in scheduled meetings, and maintain professional credentials.
