Coordinate and prepare the administration of all state-mandated assessment programs in a timely manner including the training of campus testing personnel as well as preparing testing materials (STAAR, TELPAS, and any/all additional campus assessments)
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Valid Texas Teacher Certification
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to maintain strict TEA testing timelines through efficient time-management
- Team player with ability to problem-solve and work well with all levels of campus personnel
- Minimum of 5 years of successful classroom experience
- Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Skyward
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure that all scorable and nonscorable materials are complete, correct and submitted on time
- Ability to data mine in Skyward as it relates to testing information (demographics)
- Maintain security and confidentiality of all testing materials before, during an after each testing cycle
- Understand the requirements for STAAR and EOC
- Maintain a system for tracking testing scores for students
- Report all testing irregularities to the District Testing Coordinator immediately, working with campus administrators to investigate and then providing detailed information about each incident
- Communicate with students, parents and academy offices about retesting opportunities
- Support/implement campus RTI programs
