QUALIFICATION:

High School Diploma or GED.

Secretarial experience in a public education environment is preferred.

Strong technology background and experience in multi-media.

Business administrative experience desired.

 

PRIMARY PURPOSE:

Organize, manage, and provide clerical services to the routine work activities of the Principal

Proficient skills in keyboarding, word processing, and file maintenance;

Effective communication and interpersonal skills;

Basic math skills;

Experience with budgets and purchase orders;

Ability to use a personal computer and software to develop spreadsheets, databases, and PowerPoint presentations;

Willing to work flexible hours based on the needs of the campus.

 

Other responsibilities and duties:

Prepare correspondence, forms, reports, etc., and compile pertinent data as needed when preparing various state and local reports. Assist in obtaining price quotations for purchases as needed. Be self-motivated and punctual with the highest standards of integrity.  Must maintain confidentiality of information.

Receive and manage correspondences.

All other duties as assigned.
